The Shimano Deore XT FC-M8000 crankset is designed for 11-speed drivetrains. Thanks to its characteristics, it finds a wide range of applications, from XC to aggressive Enduro riding. The Hollowtech II design with integrated axle and hollow arms contribute to high stiffness and low weight. The sprockets used on the FC-M8000 provide fast and smooth shifting and high operating culture in all conditions. The Boost version has the chainline offset by 3 mm and is designed for frames with 148 mm rear fork spacing.

Hollowtech II technology has a positive effect on the stiffness of the crankset, which comes in handy, not only on longer distances. The bottom bracket axle is integrated into the right crank in this system, thus reducing weight and ensuring high efficiency of power transmission to the drive. External bottom bracket bearings improve stability and contribute to better weight distribution.
