Each generation of Shimano technology is a reflection of the current times, the needs of cyclists and the necessary technologies.
In keeping with this heritage, the next generation of drivetrain, Dyna-Sys, brings legendary quality, durability and reliable performance.
And all this to meet the growing expectations of today's cyclists.
Dynamic Systems Engineering, or Dyna-Sys for short, is a comprehensive redesign of many thoughtful details and features that appear as a whole, not just component parts binds the cyclist, the bike and the trail together intuitive gear combinations are important for transferring the cyclist's power through the drivetrain optimization of the approx. 32T sprocket as Primary Driving Gear allows cyclists to equip their bike with the latest shock absorbers, and even the toughest most steep and muddy trails won't shake the most stable Shimano MTB drivetrain
Dyna Sys 11 the ability to dispose of the entire 11-speed system without sacrificing the necessary rhythm,
improves rhythm thanks to rhythmic gear progression in the most used range,
fewer front gear changes thanks to the optimized number of front disc teeth,
the cyclist controls cadence and energy consumption thanks to a small ratio difference at the rear,
efficient ratio combination,
higher speed with the same effort,
multiple gear ratios at the front maintain higher performance throughout the range,
Hollowtech II
Shmano uses the Hollowtech system in its products. It involves the use of hollow crank arms this solution increases stiffness and reduces weight. An extension of this patent is Hollowtech II, which is a bottom bracket axle integrated into the right arm. In lower groups such as Deore, Shimano abandoned hollow arms despite the integrated bottom bracket axle, such a solution was called 2-Piece-Crankset.
