This patented system provides seamless wheel integration with our new Yksion Elite UST tubeless tires. This makes mounting, dismounting and maintenance easier than ever before, and you get all the benefits of tubeless, including lower rolling resistance and a smoother, more controlled ride quality. Tubeless allows you to lower tire pressure without the risk of pinching, and the sealant helps prevent punctures.
The wheels are designed with our ISM 4D technology and a wider design (19mm inner / 23mm outer). ISM stands for Inter Spoke Milling, a unique process that trims the thickness of the rim wall between the spokes, creating a rim that is lighter but still very durable. To strengthen the front wheel for disc brakes, we increased the number of spokes to 24.
The hub is compatible with a 12mm thru axle, a 15mm thru axle or a quick release. The rear wheel uses 24 straight spokes combined with our lightweight Instant Drive 360 high-speed hub mechanism. Supplied in 12x142 format, it can also be converted to a regular quick release.
It is compatible with Shimano or SRAM cassettes and can be converted to Campagnolo or SRAM XD-R.
