The Ksyrium S is 60 grams lighter than the previous Ksyrium UST, yet wider, stronger and laterally stiffer. Stiffness is optimized using Fore technology. The top bridge remains undrilled, optimizing strength and stiffness, and requires no rim tape, saving another 30g per wheel. The new rim shape makes tire mounting and removal easier than ever, and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures. These rims are manufactured in France, at our aluminum rim factory.
Our new Infinity hub platform optimizes stiffness and power transmission with highly controlled spoke tension, and the Instant Drive 360 freewheel, combined with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto), ensures fast meshing and durability. The Ksyrium S not only rides fast, it looks fast too. Matte painted hubs, invisible rim welding and deep black spokes give this wheelset an upscale look that stands out from the crowd.
It is available for Shimano cassettes and can be converted to Campagnolo or XD-Road with optional converter bodies.
Lightweight and durable for everyday use
The rim weighs only 430 g. No rim tape is needed, saving 60 g compared to traditional wheels.
Flat, lightweight spokes and ID360 freewheel technology
Lateral stiffness and vertical compliance provide a dynamic ride. Fore technology maintains top rim bar stability and stiffens the 19mm-wide rim.
Improved UST Road system provides greater speed, comfort and control in an easy-to-use tubeless system
No tubes means less friction, better performance and grip, and less risk of punctures. The new rim bed shape makes it easier to mount and change tires. Pre-drilling technology eliminates the need for rim tape
