At FITWHEELS, we make the wheels. As many cyclists there are, there are so many needs for selecting and personalizing the right set of wheels. When producing a wheel, we only use components from reputable companies. In order to meet the needs of the customer, we make it possible, using the contact form, to fully customize wheel specifications. All wheels built by FITWHEELS go through a demanding process to ensure the high quality of the final product. DT Swiss - Swiss manufacturer of wheels, hubs, rims and other components necessary for the construction of wheels at the highest level. The brand's products are famous for their high quality workmanship, reliability and unique design. The presented set of wheels is built entirely from DT Swiss components. The set is designed for demanding users, who appreciate reliability, low weight and individual design. The set of wheels is compatible with the tubeless ready system. The wheels feature DT Swiss tubeless ready tape. The wheels are equipped with DT Swiss 350 hubs, synonymous with durability and trouble-free performance. The front hub has two machine bearings. The rear hub is equipped with four machine bearings and a ratchet system, which guarantees perfect freewheel operation. Servicing the rear hub is very easy. Service does not require the use of tools. We used DT Swiss R460 rims for the wheels. This is a very solid model, which has an inner width of 18mm. The height of the rim is 23mm. It has all the necessary features of a lightweight rim, which can be used in both road and cross-country bicycles. They are ideal for training wheels, for mountain biking as well as for racing. The connecting element between hubs and rims are spokes and nipples . We uncompromisingly used DT Swiss Competition spokes in the Race version. The spokes are shaded 2.0-1.6-2.0. DT Swiss prolock glue nipples guarantee a trouble-free ride. They are very light and precisely made. The surfaces on which the centering key works are CNC-machined rather than forged. This translates into a more secure placement of the wrench on the nipple, which minimizes possible slipping off the nipple and thus reduces the risk of damaging the nipple. The Pro Lock system ensures that the spoke is stabilized in the nipple. It is a two-component substance that begins to react when the wheel is pulled hard to produce an adhesive that does not allow the spoke to loosen after a few hours. Wheels built on Pro Lock nipples are many times less prone to loosening.
