The SL-70 Aero is a unidirectional carbon fiber handlebar equipped with innovations for best-in-class fit, ergonomics and aerodynamics. With a wing-shaped top, the SL-70 Aero incorporates Zipp's latest handlebar enhancements while building on VukaSprint's trend-setting aerodynamic heritage. The wing-shaped top was designed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The difference in this design is real, saving 6.4 watts compared to the round-tube top. In addition to aerodynamic performance, the SL-70 Aero has a 70mm reach to allow proper fit without sacrificing bridge length and handlebar control. A revised 10-degree ramp angle to the brake guards has eliminated the need to turn the handlebars upward. The handlebars also provide ample wrist clearance for riding and sprinting in drops.
