Puncture protection, a tread designed for variable off-road conditions, and a large width that provides comfortable traversing of slippery and muddy surfaces. ZIPP G40 XPLR is a tire for demanding gravel trail enthusiasts.
This tire model was developed for gravel bikes. Its large width (40 millimeters) and herringbone-shaped tread make it perfect for off-road rides. It features aggressive XC-style side blocks that efficiently bite into soft ground, preventing loss of grip. The flat center section effectively minimizes rolling resistance when riding on smooth pavement.
The component is distinguished by its high durability - it is not intimidated by gravel, rocks and mud. This is the result of a solid rubber compound, puncture protection tape and reinforced sidewalls. Among other things, the tire fits ZIPP 303 rims and is compatible with tubeless systems (tubeless ready).
