SHIMANO's DEORE XT lightweight brake discs dissipate heat quickly as a result of the ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA heat dissipation system. Installation and removal of the discs is quick and easy thanks to SHIMANO's CENTER LOCK design.
The new design of the ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA discs from DEORE XT (RT-MT800) is designed to ensure maximum heat dissipation, resulting in consistent braking quality and longer pad life. As usual, the discs are made in layers: a steel braking surface covers an aluminum core, which is brought outward to form Shimano's signature heat sink.
