TREK, with its invention of the BB90/BB95 bottom bracket, is undoubtedly at the forefront of rubbish when it comes to standards ever introduced in the field of bicycle technology. Apart from weight, nothing has been gained from this solution. It is flimsy and fragile. Or maybe that was the point - frames are not meant to last forever :-). In any case, TREK owners are probably the most numerous group of customers who turn to us for rescue, for which, unfortunately, sometimes it is too late.

Despite such a small drawback TREK's are nice bikes and have many supporters. And TOKEN has BB90 slides just aimed at TREK owners.

Owners of BB90 slides must pay exceptional attention to their quality. First of all, the condition of the bearings. You can't get into a situation where the bearing is seized. A seized bearing that begins to rotate together with the crank axle demolishes the socket in the frame in which it is embedded. Repair of such damage is sometimes quite complicated and expensive. Frequent replacement of bearings in this solution is simply a necessity.

TOKEN's BB90 slide is a relatively inexpensive set compared to the competition. High quality bearings and good sealing at the already mentioned relatively low price make it one of the most popular slides in our collection.

In the box with the slide you will find two good quality premium bearings, a set of necessary washers and sealers.

The set of sealers is a solid lid, the core of which is made of lightweight alloy coated with rubber. The edge of the lid is made in such a way that it is fairly effective in protecting the insides from dirt.

This slide is adapted for cranks with 24mm axle. Of course, you can also adopt it to the GXP axle by mounting an adapter.
