The Sram Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brains of the bunch and has been specially developed for optimum shifting performance with an electric motor. The mechanism now works even more precisely, even under load and on uneven ground. This gives even more confidence in the bike during extreme loads. This allows you to concentrate solely on the trail. Better protection for the Eagle AXS derailleur in the event of a fall is provided by the new Overload-Clutch. During heavy loads, it separates the rear derailleur for a short period of time, so the load can be avoided and the motor is protected from damage. However, the rear derailleur immediately jumps back into the engaged gear. As an extremely positive side effect, the rear derailleur hook is better protected in case of a fall. In addition, the 10mm shorter rear derailleur carriage protects the rear derailleur from contact with the ground. For better shifting performance, the entire design of the Sram Eagle AXS derailleur has been moved slightly further forward.
