The SRAM Red XG-1290 12-speed bicycle cassette is made for extremely fast road propulsion. The smallest sprocket of the component has only 10 teeth, thus increasing the range of possibilities for the rider. The use of such a lace is due to the innovative XDR system. In the case of the more mountainous 10-33 range, the five side-by-side cogs differ by only one tooth, while when it comes to the 10-28 cassette it is as many as 8 laces. This guarantees extremely fast shifting, allowing the rider to adapt to the terrain in no time. A big advantage of the model is the X-DOME technology, which makes the cassette lighter and the gear changes more precise. A component made with this system also cleans itself more easily from mud and has an exceptional lifespan.

The XDR standard features a longer spline length than XD (by 1.85 mm) and was developed strictly for road use. However, the XDR drum also fits XD standard cassettes - only a 1.85 mm spacer is required.
X-Range
X-Range technology was created specifically for road use. It makes the bike faster - this is helped by a wide drive range and lightning-fast shifting, as well as by personalizing the gear ratios with the AXS platform.
X-Dome
A lightweight and excellently made cassette - this is how you can describe the component marked with the X-Dome logo. The accessory quickly cleans up mud, and also provides instant gear changes.
