When it comes to bicycle trainers, the most common question that is asked is: Is it loud? Taking this question to heart, our team at Madison, took this issue under consideration and set out to create a trainer quieter than the sound of a chain running on a cassette.

With what result? A Direct Drive Smart trainer that emits a sound of 59 decibels at 36km/h. In other words, the H3 is five times quieter than previous generations, thus being the quietest trainer to leave the doors of our factory.

Maintaining the heritage of Saris trainers, the H3 features the same accuracy and durability as its predecessors. Each H3 trainer is made from a machined aluminum casting . Inside are meticulously selected and calibrated components for measuring power, speed and cadence, as well as a precision-balanced flywheel - all to receive a load of 2000W and replicate 20% of the incline.

It can withstand the rigors of the toughest workouts. The H3 has an internal cooling system that keeps the electronic resistance system running and measuring accuracy longer than your legs can work.

The trainer's "direct drive" eliminates tire contact with the roller, and is capable of mirroring any workout done in the wild from a leisurely group ride, a long climb as well as stiff ascents up to 20% incline. All this while maintaining the smooth operation and feeling of natural riding thanks to the large and heavy 9.07 kg flywheel.

The precision-balanced flywheel ensures its optimal inertia which guarantees an unprecedented feeling of natural riding. Combined with the innovative accelerated-response electromagnetic resistance control system, you get a trainer that provides a wide range of resistance changes, fast response to resistance changes and quiet operation of up to 64 decibels. In addition, the H3 is equipped with a revolutionary axle that, now and for the future, gives you the freedom to choose between any rigid axle bike ( 142/148mm) or QR clamp.
