PureGrip Compound - an advanced new compound
This technology, based on activated silica compounds, was originally intended as a performance-level compound, but after intensive development at our Korbach R&D facility, a new advanced compound was developed with exceptional grip and off-road properties. This new rubber compound, with the obvious name "PureGrip," is right behind our BlackChili compound and is used in our performance products in both the road and bicycle sectors. It provides excellent grip, but is also durable and very long-lasting - both features of Continental's tires, which are produced exclusively at our factory in Hefei, Asia.

E25 - Suitable for electric bicycles
For our tires for electric bicycles, we rely on more than 100 years of experience with tires for mopeds and motorcycles. All our city / trekking tires have a standard speed of at least 25 km / h. Tires marked e50 are also certified by S-Pedelecs. Thanks to the high-quality structure, puncture protection is high and rolling resistance is low, providing protection against premature wear caused by extra driving force.
