The Maxxis Minion DHF is the standard by which all other downhill tires are compared. The DHF has thick center blocks for low rolling resistance and protruding sidewalls for maximum grip in turns for control and precision riding. This tire is mainly used on the front; for a rear set, we recommend the Miniona DHR or Miniona DHR II.
EXO Protection - Extremely durable material, prevents abrasion and tearing of the tire on the sidewalls, where there is no tread left.
TR - Tubeless Ready - TR tires have all the features of tubeless tires except one, they are much lighter. They are the only Maxxis tires designed for use with sealant.
Dual Compound - Two types of rubber compound used in one tread (harder in the middle, softer on the side of the tread).
