1. Clean the bicycle chain with Chain Cleaner. Before applying oil, we recommend cleaning the chain thoroughly with a special cleaner. This will remove any dirt and old oil residue, preparing the surface for optimal lubrication.
2. Apply a thin layer of oil to the dry chain. After cleaning the chain thoroughly, apply oil evenly to the dry chain surface. By doing so, you will ensure that each link of the chain is properly lubricated, which will contribute to its smooth operation and increase its lifespan.
3. Remove excess oil. After applying the oil, check to see if any excess remains on the chain's surface. Using a clean cloth or paper towel, gently wipe off the excess oil. This will prevent dirt and debris from collecting, while maintaining lubrication efficiency.
