SRAM PC-1091R chain is designed for 10-speed drives, both from Shimano and SRAM. The manufacturer used advanced technologies - HollowPin and PowerLink. The former is responsible for lower weight (hollow pins), the latter for greater strength and durability. In combination, they create an incredibly strong product that weighs very little. To make the drive work flawlessly, the links were coated inside and out with a layer of nickel. The pins were made of alloy, hardened with chrome. Included with the chain, the buyer will receive a PowerLock pin, which allows the chain to be repeatedly forged and unforged whenever it is needed.
