The rim design of the Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST has an internal width of 19mm, ideal for 25mm tires. The NACA aerodynamic profile reduces drag and improves side-wind stability. The rim is manufactured from layers of continuous carbon fiber to create a unique one-piece contour straight from the mold. This technique, which Mavic calls iTgMax, offers superior heat management, allowing the rim to withstand temperatures up to 200° C. The unique molding process and laser processing achieve a consistent braking path with almost zero surface variation. This ensures the shortest braking distance in both dry and wet conditions.
