ICE TECHNOLOGIES lining - Shimano has introduced ICE TECHNOLOGIES discs and linings to create cooling technology for stable braking. The three-layer disc consisting of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel provides better heat dissipation, allowing the surface temperature to be reduced by 100°C. The cladding is equipped with a heat sink to dissipate heat. The triple-layer disc and heat dissipating lining heat sinks further ensure reduced noise and abrasion, as well as increased lining life.
