The Shimano 105 BR-R7000 road jaw brake with Dual Pivot design provides an optimal compromise between stiffness, weight and stopping power. Because the power builds up linearly, the mechanism is predictable, which guarantees full control in all conditions. The BR-R7000 is compatible with tires as wide as 28C.

SLR-EV technology significantly increases braking power and control. The caliper design incorporates a double symmetrical joint. A short arm with two bearings and a roller increases the lever ratio and reduces friction at the pivot point, which improves modulation.

Dual-Pivot technology makes the brake reduce distortion, resulting in higher durability. The caliper responds strongly and instantly, while maintaining a longer service life, which also applies to the pads.
