Shimano XTR BR-M9100 is a hydraulic disc brake created for XC. Two pistons and one-piece aluminum construction guarantee high rigidity and adequate modulation. The caliper responds 30% faster than the previous model, the M9000. The brake uses One Way Bleeding technology. As a result, the model has an increased service life and works efficiently. Also rigid is the new SM-BH90-SS cable, which connects the caliper to the BL-M9100 2-finger lever. It has a revised clamp position and a new handle arrangement. The low idle travel affects the speed of brake application. The corresponding handlebar can be mounted to the lever directly using the I-Spec EV system.
