The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8000 is a shoe brake designed for a racing road bike. The Dual-Pivot design is lightweight and compact, and the SLR-EV system improves modulation and braking power. There is a very small gap between the arms, which improves aesthetics and has a positive effect on the aerodynamics of the shape. A stabilizer is included between the axles to reduce deformation, increasing deceleration efficiency. The brake can be used with wider 28C tires. The pad linings are dedicated to carbon rims.
