The Shimano 105 FD-R7150 is the first electronic front derailleur in the 105 series, developed for 2x12 road drivetrains. Thanks to Di2 technology, shifting is fast, smooth and effortless, without the need for a traditional cable. A light press of the button is enough to deliver precise gear changes and more convenient control while riding.

The FD-R7150 supports Synchro Shift and Semi-Synchro Shift modes, improving coordination with the rear derailleur. In full synchro mode, the system automatically selects the front chainring based on the rear gear position. In semi-synchro mode, when the rider shifts at the front, the rear derailleur automatically adjusts to maintain a smoother gear transition. This helps create a more natural pedaling rhythm and a more consistent riding experience.

Its compact design provides more tyre clearance for wider road tyres and also allows installation with an optional clamp adapter. Power is supplied through a wired connection using the E-Tube SD300 cable. The outer body is made from durable GFRP composite, while the key structural parts are made of steel for long term reliability and dependable performance.
