The elements connecting the hubs to the rims are spokes and nipples . The wheels use the highest quality spokes DT model competition in the Race version . This spoke is not a drawn spoke, i.e. it is not shaded by drawing, but it is shaded in the forging process, which does not deteriorate the spoke parameter and does not weaken it. 2.0/1.6mm/2.0mm diameter.

DT Swiss prolock glue nipples guarantee a trouble-free ride. They are very light and precisely made. The surfaces on which the centering key "works" are CNC-machined and not forged. This translates into a more secure location of the key on the nipple, which minimizes possible slipping off the nipple and thus reduces the risk of damaging the nipple. The Pro Lock system ensures that the spoke is stabilized in the nipple. It is a two-component substance that begins to react when the wheel is pulled hard, to produce a "glue" after a few hours that does not allow the spoke to loosen. Wheels built on Pro Lock nipples are many times less prone to loosening.
