Jagwire Semi-Metallic pads offer a weight reduction of almost 50% over the Mountain Sport version, high braking efficiency, and on top of that, great squeak reduction. Jagwire Semi-Metallic pads mounted on an aluminum backing plate with a semi-metallic lining offer excellent braking efficiency in harsh weather conditions, high performance, and good squeal reduction. Linings made with HeatSheild technology. The HeatSheild insert between the compound and the base of the lining absorbs heat generated during braking and prevents overheating. Jagwire uses this technology in all types of linings. Jagwire Semi-Metallic linings provide incredible braking power in extreme conditions. The compound is ideal for wet, foggy days, in areas with high humidity.
