Our new carbon fiber construction combines a Shimano EP8 motor, battery and steering system with a sleek frame that offers 130mm of rear wheel travel and 150mm of front wheel travel. To ensure agile handling and a balanced center of gravity for quick direction changes, our engineers placed the 630 Wh Shimano BT8035 battery pack low. The powerful Shimano EP8 motor provides 85 nm of torque, is fully customizable via the Shimano E-Tube app and offers the ability to switch between different riding profiles on the trail.
FLIp chip technology
We've updated our progressive suspension platform with new flip-chip technology. This simple adjustment transforms the E-Five from a docile trail bike to an all-mountain bike.
New carbon frame
The 5 Series is a new genre of EMTB, and for this trail-specific platform we wanted to create a new, no-compromise frame. The use of carbon fiber in the frame allowed us to fit a full Shimano STEP EP8 motor and battery system, while leaving enough room for a bidon mount.
